by Barb, who has a book due–okay actually this book due–June 1 (Ulp!)
Look what just showed up on Amazon. (This is the first I’m seeing it, too.)
What do you think?
Would you buy this book?
Do you see the inspiration from this Pinterest board?
What do you think the story is about? (Note: If you come up with ideas that are better than my 98% completed book, I’m going to……possibly steal them for another book. 🙂 )
Let me know!
That cover is AMAZING!! Great pictures on the Pinterest board. Let’s see…..A seafood restaurant
Thank you so much! (Not that I did the lover–lol–just that you like it so mucc.)
Good cover, Barb. It brings me right in. And I can see how the Pinterest board stimulated that line of thinking. Good luck with the deadline.
Thanks, Claire. Here’s hoping next week by this time I will be footloose and fancy free!
I mistakenly hit the Post Comment button on my earlier post…sorry.
That cover is AMAZING!! Great pictures on the Pinterest board. Let’s see…..There’s a resident Maine Coon cat that belongs to the owner of a seafood Inn restaurant where someone is bumped off on a foggy day perhaps? Am I even close? I would buy this book because that cover is pulling me right in. Congrats on the upcoming release.
OOooh, you’re close!
Love the cover and the spooky feeling of fog. I was in Acadia about ten years ago with my sons on a glorious summer day and we watched the fog bank roll in and take over. I had to buy a fleece sweatshirt at a gift shop!
Yes, that happens, Edith. It’s kind of amazing when it does.
What a gorgeous cover — again! I can’t wait to read Fogged Inn!
Sooner than later, Sherry!
Love this cover! It conjures up the picture of a summer day when it’s better not to be outdoors, so why not eat a delightful lunch looking out at the “pea soup” as we call it here and then heading home for a book and a nap. What better invitation from a book cover?
There is, of course, a recipe for pea soup in Fogged Inn. I got it from Hallie Ephron’s friend, Pat Kennedy, since the pea soup I’ve been making at home all these years is from Joy of Cooking. Pat’s is delicious!
Looks great, can’t wait to read it!
Thank you!
Love it! Wicked Cozy cover!
So glad you like it! Your cover for Just Killing Time is fantastic!
Love the cover. Yes, would definitely buy.
So glad to hear this!
Love the cover. I think Julia takes a group out to a remote pl as ce for a clambake and they get fogged in, and of course there is a murder. And there will be delectable food described. Looking forward to it.
That’s not the story, Jeanette, but I like that one! May have to use it. Sort of a And Then There Were None scenario…
Just pre-ordered. Can’t wait!!!
Oh, Debbie–thank you so much!
Love the cover and know I’ll love the book!
Thanks, Susan. You know your Baby Boomer covers are among my favs! (BTW–this is my Baby Boomer book–in that all the suspects are….and the mystery goes back to the ’70s.)
If a dead body. Was found slumped over the food. With the cat starring at it. I would certainly. Read it.
Love those ideas!
I would love to read your books on kindle. However I’m a widow on social security. So I can’t pay that much. I am an avid reader. And I always always leave feed backs . Any chance I can get one cheaper thank you

Hi Wanda Sue. My publisher puts them on a big sale on Kindle at least twice a year. If you sign up for my mailing list on my website, I’ll let you know when. http://maineclambakemysteries.com/contact/
You can also request that your library acquire it – which makes a sale for Barb AND makes sure lots of people read it – or see if you can get it on inter-library loan.
It’s a great cover! Love the window.
Thanks, Ramona!
Love the cover of the book.
Thanks, Debra!
I’m getting cold chills just from looking at it. Is it out yet? Is it out yet? 😉
LOL, Mark. My question is, “Is it done yet? Is it done yet?”
Love the cover! Is Liz’s Tuffy moonlighting over at the Clambake? 🙂 😉
I was amazed how much the cat looked like Tuffy. I’ve always described Le Roi as enormous. But now I see this does look like one of the photos on my Pinterest board. I’ve never described Le Roi’s coloring. I figured he might be a cover model some day–so now I know!
I love the way the roofline peeks through the fog! It makes me curious!
I like that, too, Jessie.
🙂 I just noticed the tipped-over wine glass! Great cover that has a clue. Or two?
