  1. My favorite bargin besides on books is Doorbusters at Joanes Fabrics. When I get all my fabric and accessories at 60% of or more, that means more cash for great books! LOL

  2. That’s so exciting, Sherry! I love that my Country Store mysteries are all in audio. Question: will you listen to one or more? For me it was an…interesting experience to hear someone else read the words I wrote.

  3. Congratulations on the audiobooks! My all-time favorite and best bargain ever was my first library card.

  4. Congratulations!

Favorite bargain? Hmm. I once got a front-load washer/dryer set for more than 50% off on a Black Friday deal. That is certainly my most memorable.

  5. Oooh, I LOVE audio books. How exciting for you!

My favorite bargain was a car I bought about 15 years ago. The owner of the car dealership wanted to sell the last of that year’s cars to clear his lot for the next year’s cars. I got the car for only slightly more the 50% of the original price and it was loaded with goodies I never would have paid extra for.

  6. My 1996 Ford sport. I was given double the value of my old car for trade-in and got them down pretty lo with free oil changes for year.

  7. I have gotten several hard cover books from B&N at a HUGE discount. I’ve also purchased some great books from the library. Books are my favorite for sure. =) I’ve always overpaid when it comes to cars and homes so I guess I’m trying to make up for it in books. LOL

  8. I just love audio books. My eyesight isn’t so great and being able to listen is a joy. I’ve read all of the series so far and it would be wonderful if I could listen to the next one when it comes out.

      1. Congratulations, Sherry! I’d love to listen to your audiobooks! I just got my best bargain this week when I was fortunate enough to find a Spider-Man tricycle at my local thrift shop. He played with it all day today & loved pressing the buttons for exciting sound effects! He thinks it’s a motorcycle❣️

  9. I’m a newbie to audio books. It’s not because I don’t want to try them, it’s figuring out a time where I won’t be interrupted by may family, cats, the outside world. A lot of people listen to them in the car but since we have only one car that won’t happen.

Books are always my item for searching for a bargain. I usually check our library book sales as well as yard sales. I’m also a jewelry maker so I am always on the look for gems that I can reuse.

  10. How exciting – and audible! I love listening on long drives in the car especially. Book shopping at garage sales are the best bargain ever – never know what you will find!

  11. One of my favorite bargains was a wicker armchair and a footstool/coffee table for my front porch about 10 years ago. I went to a yard sale that was closing and the price had been marked down at the end which was reasonable to me plus I really needed one. We still have it but waiting for hubby to paint both pieces before it goes on the porch this summer!

With rather bad vision even after cataract surgery due to other conditions I’m really needing CD’s or MP3’s all the time now. I’ve got my husband to listen to every other book on CD being a cozy (his choice is mystery but thriller/serious) so on long car trips I get at least 4 or 5 done per trip. I have a CD player by my bed to listen each day and night and since I’m really low on then right now I would be thrilled to receive one of your books in this format! Thank you sooooo much! Keep up your great writing!!!!

    Cynthia B,

  12. Congrats on the audio books! The best bargain that I can think of was my 2004 Durango, I talked them WAY down on the price.

  13. The best deal I ever got was a cute LBD (little black dress). It was on the sale rack without a price tag and it was the only one. Thankfully, it was my size. I took it to the register to find out how much it was and the sales clerk looked it up. She turned to me and said “Um, it’s $1.92. I guess you want it?” “Yep! I sure do!!” And every time I wore it I got so many compliments!! 🙂

  14. Love audio I can do my quilting and listen at same time. Also love sa?es😀

  15. I am getting to like Audio books and would love to listen to yours.

  16. I enjoy audiobooks and would love to hear one of yours. Thanks for the chance to win!

    1. Oopsie. Can’t think of any outstanding sales, but am always excited when a book on my Kindle wish list is less then half price!

  17. Yay, I love audiobooks! Congrats on these & your upcoming releases! I’m trying to think of a favorite bargain, but really I’m happy anytime I can get something I need/want on sale.

  18. Congrats! I love audiobooks. I used to listen during my long work commute. Now I listen during my daily walk. What always feels like my biggest bargain is when I get a gift card for a book store – then I buy the “special” books I wouldn’t otherwise get.

  19. Congratulations on your new audiobooks! I’m trying to remember a favorite bargain, but I’m drawing a blank. I’ve found lots of great deals over the years, just can’t name one right now.

  20. Congratulations! I love listening to audiobooks on my commute to work. Favorite bargain of all time– Calvin Klein dress for $25.00 from 150.00!

  21. My best bargain was a house! The owners had rented it out and got tired of it. Sixty thousand they wanted 80 thousand and the realtor didn’t want to ask but they accepted the offer! I’d love to try listening to your book. I always wanted to try it.

  22. I’ve never listened to an audiobook. I would be willing to try one. Is there a difference in the CD’s and the downloaded ones?

  23. A used book store in a warehouse near me offers 39c book sales (used to be 25c) and I go with my TBR list. Sometimes I leave with a bag or two full other times I may only spend a few dollars. My family no longer goes with me because I look at 95% of the books they have in stock. They give up after about an hour.
