Donnadurnell is the winner of the ARC of Sell Low, Sweet Harriet. Look for an email from me!
Sherry, here and I’m so excited to show you the cover of From Beer to Eternity. It’s the first in my new Chloe Jackson, Sea Glass Saloon mystery series! I’m celebrating with a giveaway too! From Beer to Eternity releases on July 28, 2020.
Here’s a bit about the book:
A whip smart librarian’s fresh start comes with a tart twist in this perfect cocktail of murder and mystery—with a romance chaser.
MURDER ON TAP
With Chicago winters in the rearview mirror, Chloe Jackson is making good on a promise: help her late friend’s grandmother run the Sea Glass Saloon in the Florida Panhandle. To Chloe’s surprise, feisty Vivi Slidell isn’t the frail retiree Chloe expects. Nor is Emerald Cove. It’s less a sleepy fishing village than a panhandle hotspot overrun with land developers and tourists. But it’s a Sea Glass regular who’s mysteriously crossed the cranky Vivi. When their bitter argument comes to a head and he’s found dead behind the bar, guess who’s the number one suspect?
In trying to clear Vivi’s name, Chloe discovers the old woman isn’t the only one in Emerald Cove with secrets. Under the laid-back attitude, sparkling white beaches, and small town ways something terrible is brewing. And the sure way a killer can keep those secrets bottled up is to finish off one murder with a double shot: aimed at Chloe and Vivi.
From Beer to Eternity is available for preorder. To celebrate I’m giving away an ARC of Sell Low, Sweet Harriet which is out on December 31. I’ll pick a winner on Sunday, November 10.
Readers: Do you have a favorite beach?
I love the beaches in the Fort Walton/Destin Florida area. The white beaches are beautiful and the water is so much clearer than the beaches along the Texas coast. I can’t wait for the new series! The cover is beautiful, and I love the name of the bar.
I love your Garage Sale series so I’m looking forward to this one also. I don’t have a “favorite” beach but I do like those in St. Petersburg, FL along the Gulf.
I don’t have one favorite, but love beaches in general. Love this cover!! Looks like a fun series.
Thank you, Tami!
I am not going to lie, I do not like the beach. I love reading about it. Maybe I would like some up north, Maine area or somewhere. I am just not a fan of water except in a babbling stream meandering through the mountains, past a wood cabin in the woods, lol. Congrats on the new release coming up. I know it will be amazing!! Thanks for the chance to win.
I love sitting in a house overlooking the beach, but I’m not big on sitting on one all day.
Love the cover and the title, Sherry!
Schoolhouse Beach on Washington Island in Door County is amazing! It is all smooth rocks and very clear water.
Oh, that sounds fabulous!
I’d have to say Ormond Beach…. that’s the only beach I’ve ever been to! Renee
I’ve never been there.
Love the cover! My favorite beach is Galveston.

I have lots of friends who’ve been there, but I’ve never made it!
I love the beaches on the West Coast, Redondo, Hermosa, Malibu etc. Looking forward to this new series!
I lived in Redondo for about three months in the early 90s!
A beach in Puerto Vallarta that we got to by Pirate Ship and were waited on for drinks and food while the kids splashed and played! What could be bad about that?
It sounds perfect!
I’m not a beach person. Love the cover for From Beer To Eternity!
Thank you!
No but I love Michigan’s great lakes! This sounds great. Thanks for the chance.
There are a lot of Michigan fans here!
South Padre Island, Texas where I grew up. There are better ones on Destin and some man made ones in the Keys that Ilke, but I have to be true to my Texas roots. I love these books.
Thank you so much. I’ve never been to a Texas beach.
Yes! Santa Cruz, CA is my favorite! We spent many family vacations there!
Santa Cruz is gorgeous!
it’s been so long since I’ve been to the beach. Really enjoyed Ft Hancock Beach in NJ growing up.
I’ve never been to a New Jersey beach.
Oh, this looks like a wonderful series. LOVE beaches. Our current fave is Assateague, but the most memorable beach was in Isla Mujeres. We didn’t realize it was topless until we came out of the water and put on our glasses.
I’m laughing so hard!
My favorite is Mrytle Beach. I catch some rays while reading and afterwards I walk the boardwalk for food and shopping 🙂
I’ve never been, but that sounds delightful!
My favorite beach is the one I call home. St. Simon’s Island.
My favorite is St. Simon’s Island, GA. Laid back small town, friendly people, great seafood, charming! (And presently there is a large container ship with a cargo of cars overturned off shore and in the process of being salvaged.)
I’ve always heard how beautiful it is! But the container ship — yikes!
So here’s the conundrum: I love the water but I don’t like sand, so it makes enjoying the beach difficult! I also love your books and this new series sounds like a winner!
Very interesting!
I LOVE the cover! My favorite beach spot has always been Fire Island. I haven’t been there in many years, but went there as a child and loved it. From the dunes to the boardwalks – and no cars.
I’ve never been but it sounds amazing!
There was a small beach near Half Moon Bay, CA that we went to when I was a kid, not many people were ever there, not a touristy type of beach, but lots of cool boulders and tidal pools to explore – your book sounds awesome, sure would love to win, thanks for the chance
The beaches in California are so amazing. We had lots of fun exploring tidal pools the two times we live in California.
I love Savannah, Georgia’s beach …the town has a great historical section. The plot sounds really good thank you…

Some day I’m going to make it to Savannah!
Another great series. Fantastic
