  1. Looking forward to experiencing the new book format! Glad all of you have your books included!

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving for the simple reason that my husband and I were married ON Thanksgiving Day and so we celebrate our anniversary on Thanksgiving Day each year. It’s like an anniversary party each year and no one has to plan it or worry about the meal other than to make food for Thanksgiving Day as we always do. This year will be #57; that’s 57 great Thanksgiving dinners and also 57 wonderful years together! Not sure of the count at this moment but Nov. 28th, our wedding day, has only actually fallen on Thanksgiving Day about 10 times since 1963 but it’s always celebrated on Thanksgiving Day, our very favorite holiday!

  2. My mothers birthday was Halloween. It was always my favorite holiday as a kid because I got to dress up on extort candy. Now it is still my favorite she’s been gone 19 years and I still feel that connection to her and love to dress up.

  3. My favourite holiday is Christmas….We always had lamb… yummy 🙂 Thank you for this opportunity.

  4. While I hate to leave the same answer as practically everyone else — I will say hi and, of course, my favorite holiday is Christmas. I think because Christmas isn’t just one or two days, like most other holidays. It is a season that starts weeks before. The decorating, baking,
gift buying, wrapping and giving. The cards and (before Covid) visits to friends and family.

  5. I love Christmas. My kids come over and have a nice dinner and open presents

  6. I love any holiday that brings family together even when the rules change because of world health concerns. In person or face to face conversing via chosen app family gatherings of all kinds gather people together.

  7. I love Thanksgiving when my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren get together for the holiday. Making my sweet potatoe pies from a recipe passed down to me from my mother and I am doing the same with my grandchildren.

    1. Hi! My favorite holiday is Christmas because growing up it was the only time we had big get togethers. We moved from army base to army base so never lived near family.

  8. As a child, my favorite holiday was Easter – new dress, new hat, new patent leather shoes. And we all got up Very Early in the morning (us kids probably still in pajamas at that point) and went to the top of a nearby hill to watch the sun come up while our minister led the Easter Sunrise Service.
As an adult, New Year’s Eve – my time for reflection and plans for the new year – not resolutions, but the new places or activities I want to enjoy in the coming year.

  9. Hi. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love all the lights and colors. It is a time of joy for my family, we try and get together

  10. Hi my favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the time spent with family cooking together.

  11. Easter is my favorite to celebrate. I enjoy all holidays though. It has so many special meanings. It is also so much fun for children. Plus Spring is making everything new. Thanks for the chance!

  12. Thanksgiving. A time of thanks, friendship, family, fall leaves, baking, cooler temps, the turkey dinner and all the trimmings, working on Christmas gift projects.

  13. Christmas is my all time favourite holiday. My family all get together to celebrate and that’s the best part.💕

  14. Hi .. I don’t really have a favorite holiday. Any time that I can get a chance to spend time with my family is like a holiday to me.

  15. It’s a toss up between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love the food, the atmosphere, all the bright colors. Just a great time to be had.

  16. My favorite holiday is Chanukah. The food, latkes and applesauce, chocolate and marble cake, so much to enjoy. Now that the grandchildren love the chanukah gelt, games, and presents it makes the holiday even better and more enjoyable.

  17. Thanksgiving – food and family. No headaches over presents. Everyone contributes a dish. Lots of leftovers.
